I’ve been pondering this post for about a week now. And I read something from Jerry and Esther Hicks this morning that kinda put the cherry on top of my thoughts and notes I had, that I’m going to share with you today. Hopefully, it will help set your mind right and help you to have an incredible fucking week AND an incredible life. So here goes.
We’ve all heard the “Golden Rule,” “Do unto others…blah, blah, blah.” Well, it’s time for a NEW golden rule that’s more about you. I’m saying this because this life you are living isn’t about the “approval” of others and what others think of you or how they treat you. There will be people out there that no matter how much you golden rule with them, they’re just going to be dicks, so it’s time to focus on you and allow the Universe to bring you a new tribe.
So here’s the basis of an alternative Golden Rule, which I would suggest you do for 30 days and see how your life changes:
If you want success, you must celebrate success. If you want love, you must celebrate kick ass, loving relationships. If you want amazing health, you must celebrate your own body and the perfect things it does. If you want wealth, you must celebrate those who are wealthy and see that for yourself. In order for you to attain any of these attainable things in life, you can’t sit around and bitch and be bitter inside your mind when you see others who are succeeding in having all of these things you want. You MUST, I repeat MUST celebrate all the good that you see around you. Outwardly and most importantly, inward.
Here’s an excerpt from The Essential Law of Attraction collection that fits perfectly with what I’m saying today.
…When you feel overwhelmed, circumstances and people who could help you get out from under your feeling of overwhelment cannot find you, nor can you find them. Even when you try hard to find them, you cannot. And those people who do come do not help you, but instead, they add to your feeling of overwhelment.
When you feel mistreated–fairness cannot find you. Your perception of mistreatment and the subsequent vibration that you offer because of your perception prevents anything that you would consider to be fair from coming to you.
When you are buried in disappointment or fear of not having enough financial resources that you believe you need, the dollars–or the opportunities that would bring the dollars–continue to elude you…not because you are bad or unworthy, but because the Law of Attraction matches things that are like…not things that are unlike.
When you feel poor–only things that feel like poverty can come to you. When you feel prosperous–only things that feel like prosperity can come to you. This Law is consistent; and if you will pay attention, it will teach you through life experience how it works. When you remember that you get the essence of what you think about–and then you notice what you are getting–you have the keys for Deliberate Creation.
STOP living by default. START dreaming big. STOP being envious. START creating your own perfect version. This ALL begins in the mind with your thoughts. What you focus on expands so start expanding on the best version of the life you truly want to live and celebrate those who are already there. This is key in making huge changes in life. So to end, I’ll quote my old high school friend, Lindsay Wallsmith, “If there were no change, there would be no butterflies.”
