Consistency = Self-Worth

Consistency = Self-Worth

Happy Friday.

I've been thinking a lot about consistency this week and just how important it is in every area of our lives. It's so easy to feel unmotivated. It's so easy to wallow in our bullshit, to try something for a few days, maybe a week—and then give up. I get it. I've done it. We all have.

But here's the thing: Consistency is what builds trust with yourself. And when you trust yourself, that's where self-worth grows.

It doesn't matter if it's working out, finishing a creative project, healing from heartbreak, or showing up in your relationships. It's not about being perfect every day—it's about showing up again, and again, and again. Especially on the days when it's the last thing you want to do.

Because every time you show up, you prove to yourself that you're someone who follows through. And that quiet confidence is worth more than a burst of motivation ever will be.

I've been living this lately—grinding through these audiobook edits even when I'm exhausted, still taking care of my health, still pouring into the people who pour back into me. Not always perfectly. Not always with enthusiasm. But with consistency.

And on the days I feel off or low or full of doubt? I remind myself:

The results will never come from what you do occasionally.
They come from what you do consistently.

Whatever it is you're working toward—stick with it. Little steps. Little promises kept. Little victories. That's how we build something unshakable.

We've got just under five months left in this year. That's five months to show up for your body, your healing, your dreams, your people—and most importantly, for yourself.

So here's your challenge:

Pick one thing—just one—and commit to it this week.
Nothing huge. Just something consistent: Drink the water. Take the walk. Journal for five minutes. Meditate for five minutes. Speak your truth. Hit publish. Say yes. Or say no.

Whatever it is, do it on purpose. And then do it again. Let that small win remind you who the f*ck you are.

Let me know what YOU'RE doing.

Until next week, I love you.

I so needed this… thank you. Just when I started a consistent pattern of running I got injured, but I will take your advice and adjust and not wallow in the pain.
