Good Things Are Always Happening
Happy Friday! Thank you for your patience as I had an insane past four weeks of tour. Tour ending is always bittersweet. I love to be on the road and I am so grateful for the work I get to do with Cold. I want to thank each and every one of you who came out to support a show. Our friends and fans are truly the best in the world. Hearing you all belt out nearly every word to every song was sometimes overwhelming. And the love and encouragement I personally received from you were incredible.
As a writer, I don’t always know if my thoughts, ideas, or words make a difference out there, and based on what you have all told me, they do, and that gives me the encouragement to keep going. So thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I had been wondering what I wanted to talk about today, so I have a June challenge for you this month. I will be doing it right along with you. For the rest of the month, I would like to encourage you to set an alarm before you go to bed, grab a journal or notebook or piece of paper, and at the top, write Good Things Are Always Happening to Me.
Then make a list of all the good things that happened to you that day. You can even do this in the morning.
This is one of my favorite things to do at night. Getting into a state of gratitude right before I go to bed and as soon as I get up in the morning helps me stay in that state more often than not. However, I’m not always consistent with it. Typically, if I’m challenging you to do it, it means I have to challenge myself as well.
I have a million things racing inside my head all the time. I have a million things to do and things I want to create. However, I am going to make it a personal goal of mine to not rush anything this summer. I want to focus on consistency and calm. I want to flow and stay grateful, and do what I can without rushing. I want to root each day in peace and love. That is my intention.
I think we all deserve a life like that, yet more often than not, we live in a state of survival, always worrying about the next step. I feel like this challenge will bring us back to the present and activate that Law of Attraction energy we want to actually see in our lives.
Since I got home on Monday morning, I’ve been feeling a bit scattered. It’s been a challenge to meditate or concentrate on much. And that’s okay. I’m hoping this challenge will help with grounding and inspiration that I personally need.
With that said, I want to hear from you. Please let me know some of the good things that are happening with you. Even the smallest of things. It all matters. And it all gives us more to look forward to when we see all the good we truly have in our lives.
Until next week, I love you.

I met some cool new people at a show in Bensalem. One has been supporting me without knowing it for decades, another has provided me with inspiration to live a better life, the other three welcomed me to be a part of it all and I get to see them when I drive a few hours north. I’m so grateful for my new friends and hope to catch up with all of them again soon!
I got a letter from college today where I made the President’s list for this past semester. I thought that was really awesome. Ran into issues with App State and starting there this fall for my bachelor’s degree so I applied to a Liberty University and got accepted there and now enrolled and start August 18th for my bachelor’s degree in psychology. Good things have been happening daily. Enjoy your time back at home and thank you for your positivity!
I don’t attend shows as often as I used to, but the recent one in Hays, KS, truly moved me. You all were incredible, and your performance resonated deeply with me. I just wanted to say thank you for that impact. I just purchased tickets to see 10 Years in July, and I’m also planning to get tickets for Spineshank and Adema next. I’m committed to experiencing as many shows as I can over the next few years. There are so many anniversary tours coming up that celebrate a wonderful time in music that means so much to me.
After meeting you twice on tour I started my own journey with sobriety and it has been amazing. You radiate such a positive energy so thank you for being such an inspiring person. I hope that you have managed to get some rest after such an amazing tour.
