On That Confidence Game ...

I hope you’re all amazing. I hope you have all been standing in your most vibrant energy. I want to continue where we left off last week on building confidence in ourselves, because I feel this is such an important topic. I am a firm believer in vibration and energy. I believe in growth. I believe in support. I believe that without any of these things shifting to a higher frequency, we will stay on the proverbial hamster wheel until we choose to change our energy. Does that make sense?

For me, there are times when I feel like I can take on the world, and then there are times when I question everything I’m doing. This is a normal part of growth. But at what point do we move forward more than we go backward? That has been a big question on my mind lately.

Which leads me back to the confidence aspect of who we are. I’ve recently stepped away from something I personally felt was holding me back. I’m sure I’ll share it at some point, but I still am getting grounded in this, so very few people are in the know. But what is SO magical since I listened to my inner guidance system and made this decision, is an unparalleled confidence that I am so grateful for. We are all one MILLION percent capable of anything we see for ourselves. It is only a matter of taking those first steps to make changes.

Here are some more things to do (and remember) if you’re ready to give that confidence a little boost.

1. Take Care Of That Body: What are you doing to move your body? Regular exercise one hundred percent, improves mood and self-image. I’m not talking spend hours at the gym, no way, not for me. I’m talking about a 20 minute walk or a little weight session. You don’t even need a gym. You can use your body weight. Main point: Taking care of your body positively impacts confidence. Plus, sleep gets sooooo much better.

2. Surround Yourself with Positive Influences: Regular engagement with supportive friends and mentors who uplift you and encourage your growth are crucial. Get rid of anyone who sucks your energy. Even if you find yourself spending a lot of time with yourself, that’s so much better than the alternative. The people around you matter. So make note of how your energy feels after interactions and go from there. Does it fill your cup? Or does the interaction take away from it?

3. Reflect on Your Achievements: Celebrate your wins. Even if you got in an extra glass of water today, YAYYYY! Do a little dance and pat yourself on the back. You can even go as far as keeping a journal of your accomplishments and positive feedback you’ve received. Revisit that shit and give yourself a little boost in self-esteem. It paves the way for the next accomplishment to be proud of. YOU DESERVE TO BE PROUD OF YOURSELF.

4. Accept Those Imperfections: It’s important to understand that everyone makes mistakes. You go a lot further, a lot faster with those ups and downs than you do going in a straight line. Plus, it’s more fun. Enjoy that rollercoaster and don’t take yourself too seriously. Learn to view failures as opportunities for growth rather than shortcomings.

5. Visualization Brings Manifestation: Visualize yourself succeeding in your goals. Mental imagery can prepare you for real-life scenarios. Feel how you would feel as if you’ve accomplished your goals already. This is literally living your future self now, as Dr. Benjamin Hardy describes. And it’s a beautiful feeling. This, for whatever reason, pushes us into action. At least it does for me.

Hey. Maybe you're already doing some of these things. Or maybe you’re just starting out. Maybe you just needed a reminder. Maybe you’re already confident af. Wherever you are in your journey, I promise you are not alone. I promise if you do little things everyday, they lead to big changes over time.

I’m wishing you all a kick ass weekend! Love yourself. Love your life. Love where you are headed.

I love you.
