Your Vibe | Your Tribe
First off, I want to thank everyone who reached out in response to my email last week. I feel the love from all of you, and I love inspiring you through sharing my own personal experiences. Sometimes the best source of our inspiration can come from overcoming pain. I am a firm believer that The Universe/God has a plan for us. However, it's up to all of us to be the best version of ourselves in order to bring our purpose to fruition. It also requires us stepping up, and a whole lotta faith.
That being said, I want to talk to you about your vibe and your tribe today. This past weekend, I had the privilege to be a guest at Lewis Howes' Summit of Greatness. It's usually held in Columbus OH, and I'm usually on tour when it happens each year, so this was my first year in attendance. The stars aligned as I was not on tour, and it was finally held in Los Angeles. I walked away with a high and a clarity I haven't had in years. I realize this was not only because of the experience of what was being presented, but also because I was surrounded by so many people who aspire to be great in every aspect of their lives: Spiritually, mentally, physically. It gave me a renewed sense of purpose. It opened up some ideas to help me get closer to some of the goals I have.
It also reinforced the fact that our vibe attracts our tribe. The classic Law of Attraction: That which is like unto itself is drawn. (Whether we want it or not). This reiterates the importance of having people in your life who are your cheerleaders. There have been many moments in my life, where I have had to walk away from people and/or situations. Not because I lost my love for them, but because I started to love myself more. When you ask for change, be ready for insight there is no coming back from. And the key is to not judge it. There is no judgement here. There is only observation. And there is the observing of what is serving you, or what is not serving you.
Do the closest people in your life bring peace or do they bring chaos? It's SO true that you are the average of the five people you spend the most time with. It's also important to observe what you're bringing to the table. How does it make you feel?
If we are going to raise our vibration, it's important to have the kind of people in our lives who have that same mindset.
Going to this summit by myself was also something completely out of my comfort zone, however, I am SO glad I went. (I'll share more about how that all happened later.) I made some new friends, have new accountability partners, and people who want to help me reach new heights, and I want to be that for them. For that, and for all the people who are rocks in my life, I am so incredibly grateful.
How's your vibe? How's your tribe?
I'm wishing you all an incredible weekend. Be good to yourself. Be good to others. The only way to create change, is to BE the change.
I love you.
